Paragon Carpet Tiles has joined a growing group of commercial flooring manufacturers to formally approve adhesive-free installation systems from Circular Building Solutions Ltd.
Committed to supporting the circular economy, the company has approved IOBAC MagTabs® and Tab-It® for use across its design-led commercial carpet tile collections.
These include Elemental, inspired by local nature, Inspiration, drawing on themes around flora and fauna, and the Workspace loop range tried and trusted by Private and Public sector clients for over 20 years.
Both collections manufactured with Econyl 100% recycled solution dyed nylon yarn backed with ‘Envirobase’ manufactured using a minimum of 75% recycled content.
Flooring Designed For Disassembly
Circular Building Solutions manufactures and markets a range of reversible, detachable fixing systems designed to securely install floor coverings without permanent adhesives. The system allows for fast, simple installation and clean removal, without the contamination or damage associated with traditional adhesive-based methods.
Keeping products clean and intact significantly improves the feasibility of them being reused or recycled, whilst also reducing lifecycle costs. Sub-floors, often the most embodied carbon heavy element of a flooring system, are also left damage-free, minimising remediation work between tenancies and lowering environmental impact, lifecycle costs and disruption.
The range includes IOBAC MagTabs® for use on magnetically receptive sub-floors such as raised access flooring and IOBAC Tab-It® for use on most other common sub-floors including plywood, concrete and as an overlay system over existing flooring.
