COMMERCIAL FLOORING
Envirocycle London
Envirocycle London recovers carpet value by diverting post consumer carpet tiles from landfill to reuse.
After recovery & grading, carpet tiles are then supplied to charities, schools, businesses, contractors & the public for reuse. A UK Sustainable Flooring Alliance member, operating in and around London, Essex and home counties.
Each year more than 400,000 tonnes of carpet is dumped in UK landfills due to the lack of recycling technologies on what is arguably one of our planets toughest materials to recycle.
With statistics showing that UK carpet landfill is likely to be full in the near future, businesses home owners & local authorities are looking for new alternatives to landfill.
WHY THIS COMPANY?
Since the start of trading in March 2017, Envirocycle London has reclaimed & processed over 1.2 million carpet tiles for reuse through are carpet tile reuse program.
With an average weight of 4.4 kg per square metre, that’s hundreds of tonnes of carpet waste diverted to reuse. We offer a quick & efficient collection service to all our partners who supply us with used carpet tiles & can also provide a competitive uplift & removal service.
By far the cheapest and most cost effective way to dispose of carpet is to find an end user to reuse old carpet.
Commercial carpet tiles, mainly in large office premises, are often replaced long before the end of their life due to adhesive related damage, soiling or stains which could in any event be cleaned or if needs be replaced individually.
